Services & Pricing

From a few development yards to full production. Every rate is published — the same terms for everyone, no negotiation games.

Where are you in the process?

Start wherever you are — from finding one fabric to running production.

STEP 1 Find the fabric

One photo or a scrap of swatch is enough. We walk the Keqiao market, find the same or closest match, and send you the store's color card.

STEP 2 Develop & sample

Sample yardage in small cuts, lab dips and trial finishing — exactly as much as your development and internal reviews need.

STEP 3 Production, weaving & dyeing

If stock can't cover your order, we have it woven and dyed to spec — construction, color and performance finishes. No upper limit on quantity.

How an order runs

  1. 1Reach out

Send fabric photos and requirements by email or WeChat.

  2. 2Market check & quote

We confirm stock and pricing in the market, then send a full quote.

  3. 3Confirm with swatches

Check quality and color on physical swatches before committing.

  4. 4Deposit

Stock orders: 30% deposit. Orders with finishing: fabric cost paid upfront.

  5. 5Inspection & packing

Full QC with photo and video reports before anything leaves.

  6. 6Balance & shipping

Balance settled before dispatch → air express, typically 5–10 business days.

Custom weaving & dyeing

When stock can't cover it, we produce it. No upper limit.

Weaving

Specify construction, density, fiber content and width. For specs the market doesn't carry — or fabric you don't want competitors buying off the shelf.

Dyeing

Color matched to Pantone or your physical reference. Lab dips approved before bulk dyeing, always.

Finishing

Washing, bonding, water-repellent, cooling, UV-cut and more — handled in line with production.

Mill network

Direct relationships with weaving and dyeing mills around Keqiao. Volume orders welcome.

Dyeing minimums by material (per color)

MaterialMinimum per colorNotes
Synthetics — ultralight2,000–3,000 mThe lighter the fabric, the lower the dye-vat efficiency — so minimums rise.
Synthetics — light1,500–1,800 m
Synthetics — midweight1,000–1,200 m
TR (poly/rayon)1,200–2,000 mVaries with weight.
Cotton2,000–3,000 mVaries by mill.
Yarn-dyed / top-dyed2,000–3,000 mVaries by mill.
Warp knit (tricot)2,000 m+Volume runs are limited to staple constructions; otherwise we work from market stock.

Production terms — please read

  • Deposits are non-negotiable. Mills assign lines and commit yarn and dyestuff only after the deposit lands. This is industry-wide practice, not our policy.
  • Minimums are counted per color. Dyeing runs per vat, so the same total meters across more colors means a higher total minimum. The table is indicative; we confirm exact numbers in your quote.
  • No production without approved samples. Lab dips and trial finishing come first, then bulk. Skipping this step is irreversible.
  • Lead times depend on the item, number of colors and mill season. We quote realistic dates and flag delays the moment we see them.

When you inquire, four things get you a fast, accurate answer: which fabric · how many meters · how many colors · by when.

Visit Keqiao with us

Want to see, touch and choose in person? We'll spend the day in the market with you.

The market has four zones and over 30,000 stores. First-time visitors struggle to know where to start, whether a price is fair, or whether a weave is really the one they need. A plain interpreter can't answer those questions.

We look at fabric in this market every single day. Tell us what you're after in advance and we'll map the zones and stores before you arrive — then confirm specs, going rates and minimums on the spot as you shop.

Getting to Keqiao

FromTravel timeNotes
Hangzhou Xiaoshan Airport (HGH)≈ 40 min20–25 km. The closest airport — take a taxi if you have luggage.
Shanghai Hongqiao (SHA)≈ 2 h 20 minConvenient by high-speed rail.
Shanghai Pudong (PVG)≈ 3 hThe main international gateway.
The visit is the beginning, not the point

You'll be here for a day or two — but you'll need fabric all year. After you fly home, we can re-source from the same stores you visited, add colors, reorder and ship swatches, picking up exactly where the trip left off.

What we're really offering isn't a tour. It's having someone inside the market you can trust after you leave.

Trade terms — please read

① Payment, by order type

Stock orders (no finishing)
30% deposit on confirmation; balance settled in full after inspection, before dispatch. Nothing ships unpaid.

Stock + finishing (washing, bonding, performance) — fabric cost paid upfront
The moment fabric leaves the store for processing, the store's obligation ends — returns and claims become impossible. That's why fabric cost is settled in full before finishing begins. We can't front the fabric cost on your behalf.

Custom weaving & dyeing
A deposit is required when the mill assigns the line and commits yarn and dyestuff; the ratio is stated in your proforma invoice. Balance in full before dispatch, as always.

② Finishing risk — read carefully

Finishing changes the nature of a fabric. Shrinkage, shifts in color or hand-feel, and staining can occur, and no one can predict outcomes with 100% certainty across every fabric, process and color. Our rule: run a small trial before bulk finishing.

  • Test first. A small trial run is the only reliable insurance before committing bulk.
  • If we judge a process high-risk, we say so first — we've told clients to run light-color bonding in their home country rather than here, even though it cost us the business.
  • If you skip the trial, losses from finishing outcomes can't be compensated — our fee structure is an agency fee, not a share of fabric cost.
  • Clear factory negligence (wrong process, contamination on their line) gets claimed against the factory, with the process shared openly. Compensation follows what the factory accepts.
③ Swatches before first orders

First-time orders always start with physical swatches. Screen colors lie; physical confirmation prevents disputes.

④ Color tolerance

Dye lots vary slightly. Differences within grade 4 or better on the international grey scale are not defects. For color-critical orders we help you confirm the lot before committing.

⑤ Returns & refunds

Defects clearly inconsistent with the inspection report (stains, damage, wrong item) are fully reshipped or refunded. Returns due to taste or ordering mistakes aren't possible with cut fabric. Details in the FAQ.

⑥ When the search fee applies

Orders with a clear article number or photo carry only the agency fee. "Find me something like this" searches carry the per-request fee — it's real legwork across many stores. No match found, no charge.

⑦ About process loss

After finishing or bonding, final quantities never exactly match ordered quantities. We report the net figure after full inspection and confirm your accepted quantity before cutting — because cutting can't be undone.
